The most healthy foods to eat as breakfast

 


Breakfast is considered by most health experts as the most important meal of the day. Its name says a lot about why its important. It is called breakfast because you are literally breaking a fast. It is a fast because you do not eat or drink through out your several hours of sleep.
You do not need heavy foods to break a fast so it is wise to be wise enough not to eat a heavier food as a breakfast. It makes you very unproductive, sluggish, sleepy and very dull throughout the morning.
According to most health experts, lighter foods are the best for breakfast.

Now here are some foods that are widely considered to be perfect for breakfast:
1. Eggs.
Eggs are very rich in proteins and proteins take a longer time than certain nutrients to digest. This makes you feel full for a longer time than eating other foods that digest way faster; makes egg a far better weight management food.
Lutein and zeaxanthin in eggs are very good antioxidants that are exceptional in preventing and  getting rid of a very dangerous eye problem known as cataract.
Eggs can significantly help you reduce the intake of calories.

2. Coffee.
The world's second most popular beverage is coffee. It is taken by many and loved by many.
Coffee contains diterpenes, chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid. All these in it including other equally good nutrients make it a good antioxidant and excellent anti-inflammatory drink.
The caffeine in coffee makes it good in taking it in the morning to keep you alert and ready for the day.

3. Fruits.

Fruits like apples, watermelon, pineapple, banana, grapefruit, kiwi, strawberry, cherry, blueberry, Fig, red grape, pomegranate, goji berry, lemon, blackberry, papaya, cantaloupe, and avocado are very good fruits for breakfast.
Pineapple is very rich in Vitamin C and is known to contain bromelain. Bromelain in it makes it a good anti-inflammatory fruit.

  • The vitamin C in kiwi, grape fruit, pineapple, and lemon makes them fantastic immune system boosters.
  • The red grape, fig and pomegranate are known to contain significantly higher amounts of antioxidants which makes us humans feel and appear youthful.
  • Pawpaw, watermelon, goji berry and lemon are good detoxification fruits. They contain nutrients that are known to detoxify the body in a highest level. Watermelon for instance, has glutathione in it and glutathione is a very powerful detoxifying agent.
  • Drinking lemon with warm water in the morning is good. Lemon is very acidic but upon digestion it becomes extremely basic or alkaline. And alkaline juices help purifies the body.


4. Green tea.
Green tea is one of the best breakfasts as far healthiness is concerned. Green tea contains a little bit of caffeine which makes you more alert and significantly improve your mood. The compound L-theanine in green tea makes it perfect for you if you are a person who wants or needs to feel relaxed and calm. The antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate in green tea can help prevent heart related diseases.

5. Oatmeal.

Oat is very nutritious and makes you full for quite a long amount of time. This prevents overeating. Nutrients in oat include manganese, iron, magnesium, selenium, zinc, and many more.
One great thing about oats is that, it is an excellent cholesterol reducer.
